Built by someone who gets it.

Restaurant communication is broken by default. We built GuestDesk to fix the part that matters most — the gap between a guest's message and your team's reply.

It started at a restaurant, not a whiteboard.

The idea came from watching restaurant staff juggle a shared Gmail login, a full dining room, and a phone that wouldn't stop ringing — all at once. Guest emails were getting replied to at midnight, or not at all. The server handling the inbox had the best intentions and zero bandwidth.

It wasn't a technology problem. It was a people problem created by a technology gap. Restaurants had everything they needed to give guests a great experience — they just didn't have a communication layer that worked the way their team actually works.

GuestDesk was built to close that gap. Not with an autoresponder. Not with a chatbot. With something that actually understands restaurant operations and puts the staff back in the loop without adding to their load.

"The inbox should work for the restaurant. Not the other way around."
The founding principle behind every feature we build

AI does the communication.
Your team does the hospitality.

We believe the role of AI in a restaurant is to handle the work that scales poorly with headcount — the reading, the writing, the routing, the translating — so that your people can do the work that doesn't scale at all: being present with your guests.

GuestDesk handles
  • Reading and summarizing every guest message
  • Drafting warm, on-brand replies in your voice
  • Routing messages to the right person
  • Translating across any language, instantly
  • Logging every conversation with full history
Your team handles
  • Squeezing in a last-minute party of twelve
  • Knowing when to comp a dessert without being asked
  • Reading the room when the evening needs to shift
  • The relationships that bring guests back
  • Every moment that makes a meal memorable

Three things we won't compromise on.

Hospitality first

Every product decision runs through one question: does this make the guest experience better? Speed, accuracy, warmth — these aren't features. They're the point. If a reply doesn't feel like it came from a real person who cares, it fails.

Human + AI, not AI instead of human

Staff always has the final word. Nothing sends without a human making the call, even if that call takes two seconds. AI handles the craft. Your team handles the judgment. That division is non-negotiable and will never change.

Restaurants only

We don't build for dentists, car dealers, or law firms. Restaurants have a specific rhythm, a specific culture, and specific communication needs. That focus makes the product sharper for everyone using it.

Small team. Single focus.

We're a small team obsessed with one problem: making restaurant communication feel effortless. Not effortless like "a robot handled it" — effortless like your best staff member handled it on their best day, at any hour, in any language.

We work closely with restaurant operators because the best product decisions come from understanding how a service actually runs — not from reading about it. If you're a restaurant owner or GM with opinions about how communication should work, we want to hear from you.
