Free resources for restaurant teams.

Templates, guides, and practical writing about the part of the job nobody trained you for — answering guests. Everything here is free and sits on the page. No download form, no email gate, no "book a demo to unlock."

Restaurant review response templates.

Responding to reviews is one of the most important things a restaurant can do for its SEO and reputation — and one of the most consistently ignored. Not because owners don't care, but because writing the eleventh reply of the week to a four-star review is genuinely hard.

This is a full set of copy-and-paste responses covering every star rating, including the awkward ones: the three-star that isn't really a complaint, the one-star that needs a recovery, the rating left with no comment at all. Swap in the guest's name and a specific detail and you're done.

It's a web page, not a PDF behind a form. Bookmark it and use it at the host stand.

  • 5-star — short and warm, detailed and personal, and special occasion versions.
  • 4-star — thank the guest and gently acknowledge what fell short.
  • 3-star — acknowledge the experience and invite them back.
  • 1–2 star — professional recovery, plus a version for service issues.
  • Star rating only — what to write when there's no comment to respond to.
  • Tips section — what to do before you send any of them.

What we're adding next is up to you.

We build a resource when enough operators ask the same question twice. If there's a template pack, checklist, or guide that would save your team an hour a week, tell us — hello@guestdesk.pro. Requests from real restaurants go to the front of the queue.

Want the software instead?

Templates help, but somebody still has to open the inbox. GuestDesk reads every guest email, drafts a reply in your restaurant's voice, and waits for a staff member to approve it.
