Questions about pricing

What counts as a "location"? +
One location = one connected Gmail inbox. A restaurant group with three restaurants and three email addresses would be three locations. If you have one inbox shared across multiple spots, that's one location.
Can I try Pro features before paying? +
Yes. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial of Pro features — no credit card required. At the end of the trial you can choose a plan or let it expire. No surprise charges.
What happens if I go over 50 emails on the Starter plan? +
We'll send you a heads-up when you're approaching the limit. Emails that arrive after the limit is hit that month won't be processed until the next billing cycle, or you can upgrade to Pro for unlimited processing.
Is there a contract or minimum commitment? +
No contracts on monthly plans — cancel any time from your account settings, effective end of billing period. Annual plans are paid upfront and include the 20% discount, but we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee if it's not working for you.
Do you support email platforms other than Gmail? +
Gmail is live today. Outlook (via Microsoft 365) and IMAP (for custom domain email like GoDaddy, Squarespace Mail, Zoho, etc.) are in active development and will be available on Pro plans soon.
How does the AI know how our restaurant speaks? +
During setup you provide your menu, policies, and a description of your brand voice. The AI uses these as its grounding. On Pro and above, GuestDesk also learns from replies your team edits — it gets smarter the more you use it.
Can I control which emails GuestDesk sees? +
Yes. On Pro you can scope GuestDesk to a specific Gmail label — for example, only emails labelled "Guest Inquiries." That means GuestDesk never touches your personal or supplier emails. You stay in control of your inbox.
